Timbercrest Roofing and Siding was built on hard work, accountability, and earning trust—values that started long before the first roof was ever installed.
As a kid growing up in Grand Blanc, owner Ronald Eaton learned early that nothing worth having comes easy. At just eight years old, he collected pop cans on weekend mornings so he could buy his own pair of LA Gear shoes. That experience sparked a work ethic that would shape his entire life—and eventually, this company.
While other kids grabbed sleds after school, Ron grabbed a shovel. He shoveled snow, raked leaves, cut grass, and took care of his neighbors first—often working until dark. He even made sure his grandparents’ driveway was always cleared, free of charge. Those early jobs taught him lessons that still guide Timbercrest today: show up, do quality work, and take care of people.
By his teenage years, Ron was working consistently—first at Loch Lomand Golf Course, then in lawn care, eventually running his own small business. In high school, he enrolled in the Building Trades program through Grand Blanc High School and the Genesee Area Skill Center, where his passion for construction took shape.
After working on residential framing crews, Ron chose to pursue formal education at Ferris State University’s Construction Management Program, spending four years mastering the construction industry from the ground up.
In 2003, Ron co-founded Timbercrest, initially focusing on new construction. As markets shifted, the company adapted—moving into remodeling and insurance restoration. Roofing and siding quickly became Timbercrest’s specialty, where quality workmanship and process-driven installation set the company apart.
In 2015, Ron became the sole owner of Timbercrest and intentionally refocused the company into what it is today: Timbercrest Roofing and Siding—a trusted, local roofing and siding contractor specializing in roof replacement, siding installation, gutters, hail damage, and wind damage throughout Grand Blanc and Genesee County.
