Timbercrest Roofing and Siding believes in supporting hardworking students who are building bright futures without financial burden.
Every year, we award a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior in Genesee County who is committed to pursuing higher education debt free.

Timbercrest Roofing and Siding is awarding one $1,000 scholarship (check payable jointly to the student and the school they attend).

How to Apply

Submit a one-page essay or less explaining:

  • Why graduating college debt free matters to you

  • How you plan to avoid student loans and credit card debt

  • What debt-free education will mean for your future

Important: Your essay must be authentically written by YOU.

Timbercrest Roofing and Siding uses AI-detection tools as part of the selection process.

Essays created by AI, copied from online sources, or not written by the student will not be considered for the scholarship.

  • Applicants must meet all criteria to qualify:
    ✔ Current high school senior graduating this year
    Genesee County resident
    ✔ Minimum 2.5 GPA
    ✔ Must graduate with a high school diploma
    ✔ Accepted as a full-time student at:

    • University

    • Community College

    • Trade or Vocational Program

    ✔ Application received by May 30 of the current year

    • Timbercrest Roofing & Siding reviews all submissions

    • Three finalists are chosen based on the strength of their essay responses

    • The winner is announced in June

    • Scholarship checks are issued jointly to:

      • The winning student, and

      • The school they will attend

  • Timbercrest Roofing & Siding does not discriminate on the basis of:

    • Age

    • Gender

    • Marital status

    • Race

    • Religion

    • National origin

    • School attended

    • Disability

    • Sexual orientation
