Every year, we award a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior in Genesee County who is committed to pursuing higher education debt free.

Timbercrest Roofing and Siding is awarding one $1,000 scholarship (check payable jointly to the student and the school they attend).
How to Apply
Submit a one-page essay or less explaining:
Why graduating college debt free matters to you
How you plan to avoid student loans and credit card debt
What debt-free education will mean for your future
Important: Your essay must be authentically written by YOU.
Timbercrest Roofing and Siding uses AI-detection tools as part of the selection process.
Essays created by AI, copied from online sources, or not written by the student will not be considered for the scholarship.

Applicants must meet all criteria to qualify:
✔ Current high school senior graduating this year
✔ Genesee County resident
✔ Minimum 2.5 GPA
✔ Must graduate with a high school diploma
✔ Accepted as a full-time student at:University
Community College
Trade or Vocational Program
✔ Application received by May 30 of the current year

Three finalists are chosen based on the strength of their essay responses
The winner is announced in June
Scholarship checks are issued jointly to:
The winning student, and
The school they will attend
